"The Herald and the Shield" was a game concept I created for a narrative design unit. After creating a presentation and pitching the game concept to my class, I gathered a team of 2 other designers to work on a prototype of the project.

"The Herald and the Shield" is an isometric dungeon crawler set in the country of Innera during an invasion by the Agrymetian Empire. The player controls Lusine, a woman, who after an attack by the Empire is now host to an entity known as the Herald of Sorrow. Lusine while on the run, uses the Herald’s power to fight off the Agrymetian invasion and the Maere Arms which wants to imprison her to seal the Herald away.

As Vision Holder I was responsible for ensuring development on the program was fun and engaging and made sense for the direction of the project. I spent the majority of the development period on cutscene implementation and general programming.
